Summer 2022 I met Rajendra Singh, Waterman of India. He received the Stockholm Water Prize 2015 for innovative efforts to restore water and improve water security in rural India. His methods have prevented flooding, restored soil and rivers, and brought back wildlife. He has done this more than 40 years.

In December 2022 I was in India during three weeks visiting Dr Rajendra. There were conferences, meetings, excursions to some of his water conservation places. I stayed several days at Tarun Bharat Sangh.

In 2022 the “People World Commission on Drought and Flood” was established. In March 2023 the commission and partner organizations conducted a side event at the UN’s 2023 Water Conference. The commission has its headquarters in Ulrika, Sweden.

Although we can create activities, we lack resources for travel and time. Here you can contribute.

I have previous good experience in that support creates visibility and transfer of information. In 2011 and 2012, I received support from the Romanus Foundation to follow how graphene goes from research to market. Graphene is an atomically thin material that resulted in the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2010. Today, enormous development is taking place around graphene. Among other things, the European Commission has invested 1 billion Euro in a flagship program for graphene to move from research to the market. In 2015, I also received support from the Family Knut & Ragnvi Jacobsson Foundation to follow for longer term the graphene towards the market. I was active until 2018. It covered costs (mainly travel) to participate in meetings and spread information through text, image, video and social channels (search Grafenbloggen on Twitter and Facebook).

I am doing photography since 2005, and also started video and sound editing for video and pod using my music studio experience. I have good sense for catching moments with my camera. I also have learned to create videos using mobile phone which share the daily life since videos can be taken on the go without preplanning. I decided that I would like to document more of the activities, and share with others engaged in climate and water.

That became “For All Waters”.

You can now help with making water conservation activites more visible and information sharing by sponsoring.

I have started accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube under the name “For All Waters” (@forallwaters). The support will make it possible to travel and spend time to participate and document various water related events. In the channels I will share material and images, text, video etc.
